    About NICHINO Marito Insecticides

    Marito is a novel co-formulated insecticide from Nichino India combining Tolfenpyrad 18.75% + Emamectin Benzoate 0.94% SC, designed for wider protection of crops against a broad spectrum of sucking and lepidopteran pests as well as select diseases, with strong ovicidal action and a favorable safety profile (no skin/eye irritation as with EC formulations).

    Mode of Action

    Contact and translaminar

    Dual mode of action - Tolfenpyrad (METI) acts on mitochondria and inhibits the respiratory process of insects

     Emamectin Benzoate binds glutamate-gated chloride channels in nerve and muscle cells, increasing chloride ion influx and hyperpolarizing the cell membrane, disrupting nerve impulse transmission and causing paralysis and death.
